Isaiah 43:4-5 Since you are precious and honored in

God has designed marriage relationships such that generally speaking expressions
of love ultimately result in children. God's love for us results in us
receiving some kind of legacy. We see concerning King David to reward his
faithfulness "The LORD declares to you that the
LORD himself will establish a house for you: When your days are over
and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed
you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom."
2Sam 7:11,12 And though Jesus himself hadn't married yet he had multitudes
of spiritual offspring. Of him Isaiah writes, "Yet
it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though
the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring
and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand."Is

While it is true that "God demonstrates his
own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."Rom
5:8, yet how does He demonstrate His love for us now that we are save?
One way He does it by having us spiritually father future generations of
Christians.
