GRACE

Grace in the dative:

• In what manner? Freely (Adverb)
• Why? Because of God's grace (Dative of Cause)
• How? By means of the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Dative of means)

1Cor 1:4. I thank my God always on your behalf, because of the grace (epi with dative must be Causal = motive) of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

1Co 10:30 For if I by grace (graciously = Adverbial Dative) be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

1Co 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am:

By means of the grace of God? Or because of the grace of God?

Ga 1:6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you with the grace (en grace ) of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-

Tit 3:7 so that, having been justified because of his grace (Dative of cause), we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
