Before his Resurrection:
Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and after three days he will rise." Mark 9:31After his Resurrection:
Jesus told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day" Luke 24:46But the Koran denies that Jesus died and rose again:
And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure. [4.157]
"God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of Godís one and only Son." John 3:16-18But the Koran denies this saying
He (Allah) begets not [112.3]The Koran not only denies that Jesus is the Son of God, but also condemns those who believe he is.
the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away! [9.30]But Jesus himself extensively speaks of his relationship with God his Father, as for example in the following:
17 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working."
18 For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.
22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself.
27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
"Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichristó he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also." 1John 2:22,23
And they say: None shall enter the garden (or paradise) except he who is a Jew or a Christian. These are their vain desires. Say: Bring your proof if you are truthful. [2.111]The Bible is full of such proof
Now some people ask, "How can I know God has spoken?"But what is the "proof" that Mohammed is a prophet of God? For he contradicts what God has already said, and he has no miracles affirming his propositions, unlike the Jesus of the Bible.
Just read His word and I'm not jokin.
Raising the dead and healing the blind.
Oh, there's lots of proofs, you'll find.
In the presence of thousands, both friend and foe.
things not done in secret, don't you know.
For when God speaks His word, He understands
we need proof it's His and not man's.
28 Now (we Christians), like Isaac, are children of promise.
29 At that time the son born in the ordinary way (Ishmael)
persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. (Isaac) It is the same now.
30 But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son,
for the slave womanís son will never share in the inheritance with the free womanís son."
The Muslims are the world's terrorists. Christians and Jews have suffered persecution from them and especially in those places where the religion of Islam is dominant. As of late I would note the murder of Christians in Sudan and Indonesia. While the Bible advocates loving your enemy, the Koran advocates violence and hatred. Secondly I would note the religous hypocrisy of many such Muslims. For while they claim to position themselves on the moral high road, they fall far short of it. They are like the religious hypocrites Jesus exhorted in Matthew 23:13+.
Woe to you Muslims, you hypocrites. For you really are not morally superior nor are you pleasing in God's sight as you reject Jesus as the Son of God. Where is your atoning sacrifice? What is the basis for God forgiving your sins? Jesus paid for our sins and for all those who put their faith in Him as the Son of God.Your rejection of the Bible is a rejection of the God of the Bible. And your persecution of Christians is a persecution of Christ, the Son of God. Unless you repent, your judgment awaits you. Speaking to Christians suffering persecution the Bible says:
Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. 2Thessalonian 1:6-10
The Dinner Table
[5.14] And with those who say, We are Christians, We made a covenant,
but they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, therefore We
excited among them enmity and hatred to the day of resurrection; and Allah
will inform them of what they did.
[5.18] And the Jews and the Christians say: We are the sons of Allah and His beloved ones. Say: Why does He then chastise you for your faults? Nay, you are mortals from among those whom He has created, He forgives whom He pleases and chastises whom He pleases; and Allah's is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and to Him is the eventual coming.
[9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
Note: Thus it is apparent that Mohammed probably knew of gnostic Christians who didn't believe that Jesus was the Son of God, and he knew of those who did.
[3.45] When the angels said: O Marium, surely Allah gives you good news with a Word from Him (of
one) whose name is the '. Messiah, Isa son of Marium, worthy of regard in this world and the
hereafter and of those who are made near (to Allah).
[3.46] And he shall speak to the people when in the cradle and when of old age, and (he shall be) one
of the good ones.
[3.47] She said: My Lord! when shall there be a son (born) to I me, and man has not touched me? He said: Even so, Allah creates what He pleases; when He has decreed a matter, He only says to it, Be, and it is.
[2.253] We have made some of these apostles to excel the others among them are they to
whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted by (many degrees of) rank; and We gave
clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened him with the holy spirit.
[3.48] And He will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat
and the Injeel.
[3.49] And (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel: That I have come to you with a sign from
your Lord, that I determine for you out of dust like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it
becomes a bird with Allah's permission and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life
with Allah's permission and I inform you of what you should eat and what you should store in your
houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers.
[3.50] And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat and that I may allow you part of that
which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be
careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.
Note: I is apparent that Mohammed was familiar only with some gnostic
gospels, which is where the story of the bird came from.
[5.17] Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely, Allah-- He is the Messiah, son of Marium.
[5.75] The Messiah, son of Marium is but an apostle; apostles before
him have indeed passed away;
and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food.
[112.3] He (Allah) begets not, nor is He begotten.
[19.88] And they say: The Beneficent God has taken (to Himself) a son.
[19.89] Certainly you have made an abominable assertion
[19.90] The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall
down in pieces,
[19.91] That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent God.
[19.92] And it is not worthy of the Beneficent God that He should take (to Himself) a son.
[19.93] There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent God as a servant.
[6.101] Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could He have a son when He has no consort, and He (Himself) created everything, and He is the Knower of all things.
Note: Typical of Anti-Trinitarians they confuse Trinitarianism with Tri-theism
