

If You're Not a Berean, Here's Your Sign
- If you criticize others, but don't allow yourself to be
criticized, you may not be a Berean
- If when asked about your beliefs, you reply by simply cutting
and
pasting the opinions of some post-Biblical theologian, you may
not be a
Berean.
- If you treat the opinions of your pastor or denominational
leader
or Bible Study Commentary as infallible, you may not be a
Berean.
- If you show partiality or prejudice in judgement, you may no
be a Berean
- If the elders of your church expelled someone without the
concensus
of the members, and you don't bother to investigate why, you may
not be
a Berean.
- If you interpret the Bible without studying i
comprehensively,
you may not be a Berean.
- As a hermeneutical principle, if you treat inferences of wha
the
Bible says as having priority over what the Bible explicitly
states,
you may not be a Berean.
- If you presume a person is saved just because he claims to
believe, you may not be a
Berean.
- If you judge a book by its cover, an article by its title, a
person by their outward appearance, you may not be a Berean.
