Which kind of a person are you?

How Can You Develop Good Soil?

Humility is the most essential characteristic that a person must have before he can believe with the quality of faith that saves.
Jas 1:21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Is 66:2b This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.

But this humility is not the same as low self esteem. And neither is it a false humility often practiced in social relationships. [Tax Collector & Pharisee Luke 18:9-14] The Pharisee was concerned about what other people thought of him. He measured himself by other people. Tax Collector was concerned about what God thought of him. If you don't care what other people think of you, that will help you alot to live the Christian life.

How does God develop humility? Through Humiliation, often by bring the person through difficult or humiliating circumstances.

Jas 2:14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?
